The Ohio College Comeback Compact is a collaboration between eight community colleges and four-year public universities in Northeast Ohio and is affiliated with the College Comeback initiative of the Ohio Department of Higher Education. Two non-profits, Ithaka S+R and College Now Greater Cleveland are helping to coordinate the Compact and three foundations are providing philanthropic support.

Ithaka S+R

Ithaka S+R is a non-profit service committed to expanding access to higher education and improving student learning outcomes. Ithaka S+R is part of ITHAKA.

Ithaka S+R is coordinating the efforts of the colleges and universities to implement the Compact. Tom Lasley, CEO of Learn to Earn Dayton, provided strategic guidance and support to establish and organize the Compact.

College Now Greater Cleveland

College Now’s mission is to increase postsecondary educational attainment in Greater Cleveland through college and career access advising, financial aid counseling, and scholarship and retention services.
